My mic keeps getting louder

Hello, I just bought a Hyper X Cloud headset and have Sound Blaster X-FI MB3 on my computer. I formatted it for headphones and everything worked great until my friend told me I was a little loud. After I turned it down, I noticed that as I speak the volume increases with every word until it's back at 100. I've tried everything I can think of and cannot figure out for the life of me how to set the volume and get it to stay there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thank you in advance

I think you haven't check the audio gain. 😀
usually it's in automatic so that might be the problem

OK, That sounds absolutely right, but i've been through all of the settings on Sound Blaster, even the advanced ones, and can't seem to find one to change the audio gain. Where would that be located? it could be obvious but i'm not the greatest with computers or finding things

I haven't use audio blast ever but one solution is if it's connected to the computer check the computer audio settings. if the problem is in the firmware of the sound blast why don't you contact the website, seller, or your old seller?. there is a lot of manuals in internet.
