You mean a high pitched sequel.
Its a projection model tv isn`t it.
That`s the sound of an electrolytic capacitor gone bad.
Or can be a sign of electrical arcing on the circuit board.
Caps can be replaced, and how you tell one is bad or dead is by looking at the top of them, if they are very domed at the top and not flat, any brown or sticky fluid on them.
Then there toast, gone blown.
They have leaked with heat and age. And need to be replaced.
As for electrical arcing, basically the same.
A component in the circuit fails, And if of a high voltage it finds the next closest path or component to jump too example another circuit or component close to it.
From pos to neg.
The last is the actual projection wheel is stuck, and is not spinning. Broken motor, or damaged projection wheel disk. Or the belt used to spin the disk.
Any of the three faults will cause the tv to shut down.
That`s about it.
