My Sony bravia 42 inches fluctuates with a cut sound when I insert a pen drive to play video from it. It gets on and off repeatedly every 2-3 seconds. If someone faced the same problem and find a solution for it please help me.

First you need to establish it's not simply a faulty pen drive by trying a different one (please don't say "I don't have another one to try" - - - buy one if necessary, a good reliable brand).
