My sound cracks every 30 second. What to do?

I'm currently running my sound trough my ASUS VN247H monitor directly trough my HDMI cable. The HDMI cable is connected to my MSI GTX 970 which is connect to my Gigabyte GA-Z97P-D3, Socket-1150. Whenever I hear music or game the sound cracks every 30 seconds, and the sound goes completly insane for about 15 seconds. This dosen't happen when I have my headset connected, only when I play music trough my screen.

Any suggestion on how to fix this? It's really anoying.

Hello,

Try to reinstall the audio drivers (including the HDMI audio drivers from the GTX 970). If no result, change the HDMI cable. Verify the monitor with another device with HDMI output (BlueRay player / SAT receiver, etc.).
