my tom tom doesnt work it saying usb isn\'t on what do i do

Can you please help, I connect the tomtom to the computer it coming up saying the USB isn't connected.
What does that mean .

It use to work on here some months back, now it doesn't.

Do other USB devices work when connected to that computer ?

Is a driver needed for Windows to support the Tom Tom, it may have been uninstalled or corrupted in the months since you last used it -- download latest version from Tom Tom website.
