My Torrent Download Speed Is Very Slow

I am using TP-Link TL-WR840N Router, my internet connection speed of streaming and downloading is 2.5Mbps but when I switch to torrent downloading it reduces under 30kbps

Check out the number of seeders before downloading a Torrent file
More the seeders gives you more speed.
Also try adding trackers
And set maximum number of open connections and incoming connections as 500 , this may increase your seeders and thereby increases download speed

what is your BB Connection speed? are you using a wired connection or wireless ? what torrent client are you using
