My TV has sound when Bluetooth is on. It also has optical audio.

My wife needs a loud headphone due to hearing problem. Many channels are too low for her.
How can I hear sound from tv while headphones can get sound amplified. Is there an amplifier that connects to the optical port on TV and sends amplified wirelessly to her headphones. If so what is it called. Or do I need to buy a different headset or amplifier?
