My Win 8, 7, and Vista machines will not recognize any of my tabs, phones, etc...

Hello all,
I am stumped and the guy at the computer store looked just as stumped if not more lol. I have a Windows 8, Windows 7, and a Vista. I also have 2 Samsung Galaxy Tabs, 1 old S2 phone, and a Nokia 925 phone. I can plug all 4 devices into all 3 machines and they all say "USB Device not recognised". I am beyond stumped. I have tried 3 cables.... Can anyone shed some light for me. Thank you very much!

try find driver from the manufacturer

I had 3 cables. All samsungs. I bought a 4th just now and everything works. I dont know why 3 of my cables failed..
