What is ur System Specification..

is ur movie in hd (preferably 1080p) .

you might encounter playing high definition movies or videos if ur using low-end pc (laptop ,netbook)

The only Windows Media Player that is good is the Classic one. Any other WMP has too many useless features that makes it slow. Try Media Player Classic - Home Cinema and see if it's better.

WMP file format makes playing videos slow IF ur pc is a low-end pc. wmp will always work anywhere such as window MP VLC MPCstar if u have a decent pc.

I'm not talking about .wmp file format. That one should be able to run on pretty much any PC that can handle at least Win XP. I'm talking about Full HD h264 videos (common these days) or even higher.
