need feehorn advice

Ok, here's the deal. I'm researching getting a new feedhorn
package for my videocipher II / dsr905 sidecar system. I currently have
a single c/band feedhorn. I want to get a c/ku band feedhorn lnb package.
As a complete novice to the "bud" industry my research is simply
mindboggling. I know I want a "high stability" type. That's about it.
I'll listen to any recommendations from the participants in this group
as I have been reading for quite awhile and appreciate the abundant
knowledge found here. I think the Astrotel or Chapparal corotorII are
good options? I see a RP3-cku on Dave's Web Shop but don't know the brand.

That is an ADL feedhorn, a good choice.
I am more budget minded than some, and can't justify spending $150 on high
stability PLL LNB's.
You know what they say,
"Don't be afraid to buy the best, you will never be disapointed"

My question is:

If the analog receiver can handle an LNBF(the dsr-905 can),what about going
with a C\KU lnbf?

I understand that only Eagle Aspen makes it,comes in gold and silver
strength.

At one time Kusat sold them and on their website it said that an lnbf has a
20% weaker signal than a feedhorn.

What say?

Thanks for the replies, gentlemen. My analog receiver is a Houston
Tracker 50. That's about all I can tell you. Thanks again.
