Need help!! Asus Xonar DX problem. mic not working

My headset mic was not working so I decided to buy a new desktop mic instead. To my surpsire even this mic is not working so it must be the Sound card(Asus Xonar DX)
I have triend change all setting but none worked(boost, changed to front panel and not ) but still no fu*king luck. I am so pissed I have wasted hours trying to fix it so please help me
It worked on TS for just a tiny bit where I could hear myself but its was gone after a few seconds then later I could hear it again and now nothing at all :s

There is nothing unusual about Asus products not working.

indded! especially when it comes to sound. I hate asus now. my mobo is also asus and onboard sound is gone so stupid me decided to buy an asus sound card instead of rma the mobo look where that got me -.-
