Hi All,

I haven't actually purchased one yet, but I have some Bose home entertainment speakers that have male RCA connections currently connected to the output on my home TV.

I would like to purchase an amplifier so that I can connect my TV, Vinyl Player and DVD player to it with these speakers as my output.

The problem I am discovering is that although amplifiers come with female RCA inputs they require speakers with bare-naked cable to connect to them. Ideally I would like an amplifier with female RCA outputs for the speakers (and a remote control).

Does anyone know where I can get one or how I can solve the problem?

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Gary

There are no such amplifiers.
These type of RCA speaker outputs are only found on very cheap home stereos.
You can make an adapter, female RCA to speaker wires.
BUT, if you are spending the money, why not get some good speakers too?

I was given the Bose speakers (which I think sound pretty good) and the amplifier is being bought for me, but not any speakers. Unfortunately being a student at the moment I can't afford new speakers although that would be an option in the future.

Thanks for your help :).
