Need some help about compact cameras.

Apr 27, 2017
Hey so basically i'm looking for advice, as to be honest I do not know all that much about cameras... However i know more or less know what i'm looking for.

I'm looking for a light compact camera within the 200-250€ price range (220-270$). I'd like to a camera which is fairly flexible (take good photos and nice quality videos) and maybe has a decent zoom, that said i don't expect it to necessarily excel any of the areas simply to do a good/average job.

currently i've thinking: 'Canon PowerShot SX620 HS' or 'Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX350' potentially 'Canon PowerShot SX710 HS' if i'm advised that it is really worth the extra cash.

I'm open to a camera having no viewfinder, no touchscreen, no this and no that. (I don't need loads of fancy extras).

I'd just like a smallish versatile camera.

If there is anyway you can help me ie. what to look out for, to check out model x, that some thing i'm looking for is unreasonable, etc... Please Please let me know :)

Thank you!
