New Battery not holding charge

Just got a brand new battery for my Asus G73jh, I let the thing charge up to 100%, but when i took it off the charger, the battery dropped from 100 to 89 to 6% in a matter of seconds. Any clue? Brand new battery..

It sounds like one of those cheap replacement batteries. I would return it for a refund and then go to Amazon to search for a replacement battery for your laptop. Read the reviews to determine if there are any issues prior to buying.
