Hi,

I have a new hard drive for my laptop and want to install windows 10 on it from usb. I’ve created a windows 10 usb with the creation tool (2 usbs in total), set the boot order to usb, i get the windows logo, round circle starts loading and then nothing, just black screen for hours (whole night).

- 2 usbs work, tested on other laptops
- boot mode legacy (mdr) uefi doesnt work
- hard drive is properly connected
- hard drive is completly empty (ntfs)
- bios recognises hard drive
- external boot active
- tried bios default settings

Graphics driver issue maybe? Though, windows basic display driver should get you through most of it. Have you tried Rufus instead of the Microsoft creation tool? Why 2 usbs?

2 usbs just to be sure, thought maybe there was a problem with the usb.

I dont think its the driver because I can open up Viao Assist screen and logos pop up etc...

No havent tried Rufus, gonna try it tonight, thanks!
