New laptop battery came with battery fully charged... Should I be suspicious?

I've just bought a brand new sealed box Acer Aspire. When using it for the first time, battery seemed to be 100% charged (I've got a blue light indicating that, and after first boot the system confirmed it was 100%)
Should I be suspicious it is not brand new, or is it refurbished, or is it a returned item?

Laptops will usually come with a fully charged battery.

I'm not an expert. But I would assume it's new. I'm pretty sure its illegal to sell refurbished as new. And the last few laptops I bought were at least very close to 100% when I opened them (I didnt look specifically, but they were definitely very close). It also may even be the way windows 10 calibrated the battery on the start up.
