New notebook won't shut off/restart

Hello, yesterday I got a brand new Medion Erazer P7643 notebook. It all worked great untill this morning when I was too late plugging in the charger and the screen went black so of course I plugged in the charger, awaiting the notebook to restart. But it didn't, so I tried to hold in the power button to shut it completely of to restart, but it won't shut off. The power button keeps glowing no matter how long I hold it. I've tried everything but it won't shut off but the screen keeps black. Thank you in advance if anyone could help me!

Pull the mains cable and remove the battery.

That'll slow it down a bit so you can put it all back together and turn it on again.
