As the title says. Recently had a sector go bad on my factory SSD. I purchased a new Evo plus (970) and installed like I have on many computers over the years.
Windows is installed on the smaller hdd still in the computer, it was the boot drive before.
Turned the laptop on and it takes me to bios, I make sure the correct drive is selected and all settings have stayed the same.
It is registering the new ssd but since I haven't put anything on it I don't select it as the boot drive.
Save and exit, now I get the annoying black screen telling me "Reboot and select a proper Boot device."
Any help would be appreciated. I even went back and installed old ssd checked settings and it boots just fine.
