Hi all,
hope someone can actually help me :)
I just bought a Samsung SyncMaster P2450H and connected it to my laptop (Acer Aspire 5612).
the problem is that the monitor is flickering, and a lot, at the native resolution (1920x1080 @ 60hHz - which was available in the graphic card settings, with no problems)
I updated the graphic card drivers, monitor drivers and even the bios... but still the flickering is there, sometimes it disappears for a bit, sometimes is less, sometimes it's way too much! but if I change the resolution and choose a lower one (and this worries me), the flickering seems to disappear....
anyone could please help me? any ideas for a solution?
thanks!!

If you can change the resolution to a lower setting and the flickering ceases and with the driver updates, it would appear as if the GPU cannot support the resolution. It may say it does, but in this case, it appears to not be able to. What GPU is it?
