New to smartphone. Have lg and am trying to get movies to go directly to sd. Please advise.

Well it is going to depend on how you are downloading them. If you are doing it through the browser, you will have to set the browser to send downloads to the SD card. The option should be in the browsers settings.

If you are using a specific app for this, then you would have to make the change in the apps settings. If it allows for that. Some do not. Especially if you are using he new Netflix download ones. They don't download to cards.
