I will soon be signing up with Spectrum for internet, tv, and phone service and need some advice about some options I have. I intend to buy 2 new smart TV's and was thinking about getting a TV with Roku. Is it a good idea to buy a Roku TV or any other service like Roku? Also, am I better off getting a 2nd box from Spectrum rather than going with Roku or some other service like Roku? Any assistance will be helpful, thank you.

Solution
One additional advantage of a Roku TV with Spectrum is their app for Roku. You might not need to pay for a cable box if you use the free app.

There are also free Roku channels that you might like.
You might also consider an Android TV (or stupid TV with an Android box). That allow for a lot more options including KODI.
Depends on what/how you like to watch movies and shows. The main benefit of any smart TV is ability to use streaming services like Netflix, YouTube, Hulu, ability to play media off your network storage, etc... If you don't use any of those then signing up for a service you won't use would be silly. Nothing wrong with getting a TV with Roku built in though, it will still work as a normal TV.
