Nikon D50 issues.

I'm having issues connecting my D50 to my PC.

I'm trying to get it where I can use the PC to view the shots which are being taken on the camera via the USB port however Windows refuses to detect the camera.

I haven't found any available drivers or software which allows this function apart from qDSLR which isn't detecting the camera also.

Didn't the camera come with software? I have the D50 and never had any problems viewing or transferring photos with the cable that came with it.
