No Audio from PS4 controller when connected to PC

I recently tried to used my ps4 controller on my PC (used through steam).
It connected just fine (wireless) and works great, but i cant hear the audio from the controller.
The audio only plays from the pc when the controller is connected, the headphones jack on the controller does nothing, the sounds from the pc continue even when the headphones are connected into it.

Can someone tell me why this is? And if theres any possible fox to it.

I don't think audio is supported when using a PS4 controller on PC. At least, I've not heard of it being a thing.

For this to work, the PS4 controller must present himself as "audio device" so that Windows knows where to route audio. Check for additional drivers to install, or see whether you have additional audio devices.

I tried checking the drivers, theres no update for it atm, how would i configure it to be seen as an audio device?

Option 1: Write a driver: Reverse-engineer the protocol, learn how to write Windows drivers, write a driver. You might even make money out of it.
Option 2: Persuade Sony to do that.

If that functionality is not provided, you cannot create it out of thin air.
