no audio(?) yet?

alright. i just built pc. and for some reason i have VIA HD AUDIO. maybe my tower or mobo dont support it. but i've given up and got some wireless headsets...but i may switch back... and i might buy the RAZOR CHROMA. cause it has both headphone jacks and mic jacks on the side of the keyboard.... will those/that work? or should me stay wireless?

you need to specify what you mean. you say you have "via hd audio" but do not say what does and does not work audio wise.

do neither the front nor rear jacks work for audio? if that is what you meant...

-completely uninstall any audio drivers. go to the manufacturer of your motherboard's website and download the newest ones. restart. does it work now (check front and rear)

its probably just a driver issue, although i suppose you could have a hardware issue with your sound. if you are getting no sound as-is then you would get none on the keyboard as it connects via the same jacks for audio.

if your onboard audio is in fact dead you could use a soundcard or usb soundcard (or use usb headsets) to get audio. check that its not driver related first though.

will do that NOW. plz wait. and which is the best audio obtainable.? whats a soundcard and i can guess what a usb audio is. and swett drawing!

UPDATE. 10/1 7:29 CMT. apparently there was a wins 10 update. and i installed it. but maybe i plugged it in wrong this time. will check another time. u havent seen the last of me

I'M BACK!!!!!!!!. i have.... GIGABTYE 78LMT USB3. prob rev 2. and it keeps installing via hd. even tho i uninstalled it and deleted it. read the manual and it said it supports REALTEK. i have the HD AUDIO pin connector connected. i have that one and ac 97. so help me. no input jack on my system works.? damaged?
