no game sound with turtle beach xp seven

I got these new turtle beach xp sevens and for some reason, the dolby digital indicator is red. I got this adapter from turtle beaches website for xbox 360s that don't have an optical port. I already went to the audio settings and put it on dolby digital 5.1 but I still cannot hear any game sound

I've tried that as well. I put everything to the max but the Dolby digital indicater is red and it's supposed to turn white when I go to the audio settings and put it on Dolby digital 5.1

Yea probably. I sent turtle beach support an email and hopefully they respond quickly because it's really irritating waiting almost 3 weeks to get them and not be able to use them.
