How can I connect wireless headphones to a tv without a headphone jack. I am told that the 2 rca 3.5mm jack will not work on wireless and an expert suggested scart to audio but I already use my scart for Humax. Any suggestions please? Thanks

what outputs for audio does your tv have? what input does the receiver for your wireless headphones have?

given that wireless headphones are self powered and do not require power from the port - if they accept a 3.5mm input signal you should be able to use rca to 3.5mm. since the port is unpowered volume levels might be lower than using a headphone jack (depending on how the transmitter/receiver processes sound) however should be within acceptable levels. its a cheap fix as well.

they do make optical audio extractors (for optical out) or arc-compatible hdmi audio extractors (for extracting audio from hdmi-arc capable tvs) but these are much more expensive and honestly overkill if you have simple rca red/white outputs.

Sorry I missed a bit out - I have bought Wireless Bluetooth Audio Transmitter A2DP 3.5mm Stereo HiFi Adapter Dongle which is now paired with the wireless headphones which work perfectly ok with a tv with a headphone port. My Samsung tv does not have a port. I have just bought 3.5mm Socket to RCA plugs but as predicted by two different shops it does not work.plugging them into audio output on TV. The TV has 5 out sockets normal red and white udio then a red and a blue labelled P and a yellow video one. There is also a funny shaped which I think is Complement AV inn but would not swear to it. There are to multi holed ports for computer and HMD. On it's own is PC/DVI audio in hole. On the side of TV there is a card slot and what looks like a small usb port. All of those surely one would do the trick?!?
