No phono

I own a Marantz SR6005, and am about to purchase a Stanton ST.150 record player. The Stanton has both a phono level or LINE level. Will I need to purchase a pre-amp or will the line-level work with the marantaz? The manual is located here for reference (http/www.stantondj.com/pdf/products/turntables/st150_manual.pdf).

The manual says it all:
Connect the RCA cable to the PHONO input of your mixer(receiver). You can
also use a line input by setting the phono/line switch at the rear of the
turntable to Line.
