No power on my toshiba satellite

I switched de polarity of my toshiba charger and now I do not have any power when I press the power switch . Nothing also happens when I put a new charger with the same voltage as the original charger in. According to a repairer the board is in perfect condition. Pleàse help me as I only bought this laptop some few months back. Your help and suggestion wil be appreciated. Thank you

I can't understand why you changed the polarity, or why you would want to if the charger was supplied with the laptop and was (presumably) working okay before you switched it.

Despite your being told that the mobo is okay, the wrong polarity has evidently damaged something internally.
