I tried connecting a new Samsung LED Smart Series 6 to my old Kenwood receiver (which gives me fantastic sound) using the audio video cables but I get no sound.
Is this receiver analogue?
Do I need to buy an analogue to digital converter for my old Kenwood VR-205 receiver for it to work with the smart tv?
This are the details of the connector type on the receiver.
1 x headphones ( phone stereo 6.3 mm ) - front
3 x composite video/audio input ( RCA phono x 3 ) - rear
1 x composite video/audio output ( RCA phono x 3 ) - rear
1 x monitor output ( RCA phono ) - rear
1 x subwoofer output ( RCA phono ) - rear
2 x rear speakers output ( one-touch x 2 ) - rear
2 x front speakers output ( one-touch x 2 ) - rear
1 x center speaker output ( one-touch x 2 ) - rear
1 x 5.1 channel audio line-in ( RCA phono x 6 ) - rear
Thankyou
