No sound thru CA Audio speakers connected to TCL ROKU

Speakers and subwoofer connected via headphone jack to a ROKU tv not working at all. ROKU TV shows headphone pic, the sound works with tv speakers, just not with new CA 3610 subwoofer and speakers with Control Pod, which is plugged in. Thanks for reading & for any help anyone can supply.

Can you get sound off the TV using ordinary headphones?

Haven't tried yet, last time I did my eardrums almost blew out. I will see...thanks.

Thanks, I tried the headphones, and they work with the roku stream but weirdly not with my dvr cable box which is also connected to the roku tv, of course, and that was where i was not getting sound. so i have to figure out why that's happening.
