I am looking for a circumaural headset with decent sound quality and passive noise isolation for gaming. My price range is about $30, hence the reason for passive noise isolation. Comfort is also a priority. I am completely unfamiliar with the headphone/headset market. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You

I think your budget is a little too low to get any decent headset... Some of the really good isolation phones that are also super comfortable (even if you wear glasses) include the Audio Technica ATH-M50. On a good sale, they can be had for a bout 100 bucks. Those are made to be worn for long periods of times and also in live monitoring situations (DJ, mixing, studio), so they block a lot of external noise.

However, unfortunately I am not aware of a "decent" set for 30 dollars. Perhaps the in-ears types of phones can be had at this price.

Those headphones I suggested should be available in the US too. I'm not sure what stores are available next to you, but the big department stores like BestBuy usually carries some popular ear phones, see if they carry the JVC here:

They have a few others you might like listed online too.

Otherwise, try your local pro audio store (this varies a lot geographically), they usually have a huge range of closed phones that provide good isolation.
