Not able to transfer images from SD card to computer

Images are on the SD card but can't view it when I connect the usb to the computer? Any ideas? Camera is a Sony dsc-t99 which I bought from a mate so he only gave me the cable but had no discs

install the proper driver for your camera.

if you are using the sdcard then try to find them in hidden files.

it may possible that your machine is having virus which is causing the problem....
