Nvidia Control panel wont open

im using a inspiron 14 7447 with gtx 850m, when i try to open it says that im not using a display attached to nvidia gpu?

What OS? Any recent changes or new software installations?

When you right click an open area of the desktop do you get the error at that time or do you get the error when you click the Nvidia Control Panel in the menu Window that normally appears?

I suggest going to Nvidia's website to download and reinstall the applicable drivers.

Driver may be corrupted or some bug has developed.
