I am going to buy one but I don't know which one I should go for considering they both have attractive prices ranging from $200 to $300 (for my budget).

iPod Touch pros:
It is portable (I can use it in my bed while relaxing/listen to music on the go).
More uses (camera, gyroscope, etc).
Its apps are more optimized than Android's.

Cons:
As powerful as an iPhone 5s (in some benchmarks even slower - maybe it's because it just released and apps haven't been fully optimized on this version of A8).
I am a house-cat and I don't go out too much except for things that have to be done (school, sometimes groceries, etc).

Nvidia Shield TV pros:
More powerful than iPod Touch.
Controller rather than touch controls (good, yet meh; you'll see why in the cons).
Nvidia Grid service to stream games from their servers to my console instead of needing to own a gaming PC.
Cons:
I only have a 32-inch TV (albeit it's a bedroom).
No gaming PC to use its streaming-to-TV funcion.
Much worse OS when it comes to optimization (might be 1000 times more powerful than the iPod Touch, but if bad optimization doesn't even let it use 10% of the system's power, then it is a useless bravado. Games like GTA San Andreas having framedrops is common in high-end Android Phones running at a performance equal or worse than the old iPhone 5 in some games).
Some touchscreen games not compatible (question is: how many?)

Extra pros:
3 months of music.
$30 Google Play to buy games.
Borderlands Pre-Sequel

Which one should I buy? Is the Shield TV compatible with most regular Android games? Also, does it have a lot of games made or optimized for it?
