office 2013 install location

I am trying to make office install to my ssd which is not the c drive but i cannot chose at any point in the instal process where it installs to and it will not let me move it does anybody know how to choce what folder and drive it instals into?

In previous versions of Office, you had to select a custom (or advanced) install in order to select a non-default location. The default install will always go to the C: drive otherwise.

unfortualty this does not use the instal wizard and there instaler gives you no option that i can find

Any normal install of Office 2013 gives the option of where to put it. I did exactly this recently. Installed it on another drive.

DVD? USB? From the first click, step by step....what options does it give?

It ends up as an exe file, right? Every single Office install I've ever seen, from Office 95 to Office 2013, gives multiple options on the install...What parts of Office, and specifically where to install it.

Click on the exe and what happens? What dialog boxes and tabs appear?

What is the full filename of the downloaded file?
I've never, ever seen an Office install that does not give that option. And I've done it dozens, of not hundreds, of times.

Well, I don't have any experience with the Home-Student version, but I still find that very, very weird.

any idea if there is a difrent instaler or somthing like a advanced version?

You don't see anything about " Language and install options" ?

A couple of screenshots as you progress would work here.

im gonna unsital it again and se if for the folder sticks around and delete that and se if then gives me the option

nope nothing i give up i cannot find any way to move it around or change the instal location and its really pissing me off

just a thought but you may want to give this a go: http/www.intowindows.com/change-default-installation-directory-in-windows-7-vista/

then try installing again and see if it makes a difference.
