Old red/white AV cords don't fit blue/green female AV ports in new Smart TV

I just got a new Samsung SmartTV, and only have two female AV inputs (light blue/green and yellow) in the back of the TV. They are much flatter and don't "stick out" from this TV like my previous TV.

I am hearing impaired and I have a bluetooth transmitter that plugs into the AV jacks of the TV that allows the sound to feed straight from the TV into my hearing aids. I really need this for full enjoyment of watching TV.

The old red & white AV cords I was using to hook this transmitter up to my old TV don't fit the new female inputs in the back of the TV. The male plugs have a bulky rim around them that don't let them fit completely into the new female ports.

Can anyone tell me if these new colored jacks are different from the old RCA jacks and if I need special new AV cords to work with them? Or do I just get cords with flatter rims around the male plugs?

I'm a little thrown (and quite annoyed) by this as I thought these kinds of components were supposed to be standardized and that new TV's should pretty much be backwards compatible for these kinds of ports.

Any advice much appreciated. Thank you!

Solution
That TV should have breakout cables for the yellow AV input and the blue component video input.
It's cheaper and save space to use this arrangement than RCA jacks. You have to use both if you want component video and audio.
Check the TV manual.
