Omnia touch screen fix

Omnia touch screen is not working. Can not do a hard reset by pressing phone and cancel button then pressing soft reset button or power button.

I bought it in Asia. There's no way I would go back there just to have it fixed.

So the phone operates right but its touch screen function doesn't work ?
Also does it give you any errors when you can't do a hard reset ?
