Only audio from downloaded videos...why?

I only get audio from my transferred videos to my laptop from camera sd card. What am I doing wrong?

Maybe your laptop don't have the codec it requires to play the video, what media player are you using?

Try downloading Windows Media Player Classic Home Cinema. That is the default video player I use and I have had no problems with any type of media. Never tried playing back video formats from a camcorder though.

VLC is a popular media player as well so you might want to give it a shot.
