I'm considering getting an OSVR HDK 2.0 because it is the most affordable headset that is on spec with Vive and Rift. But I have some concerns about compatibility, so just wondering if anyone here has got it to work with games for Vive and Rift? How well can it play those games if at all? And how hard is it to setup? Would appreciate feedback from anyone who has one

OSVR games work, or work with some limited tinkering:

But if it's a Rift or Vive 'exclusive' then you should be prepared for some steep work to get them going, if at all. I should also mention that the OSVR experience is not like Vive or Rift. It's good....certainly better than a 'mobile' VR experience, but the Rift and Vive are polished whereas many OSVR are not, though is getting better.

It is really more of a development tool right now than plug and play product, not that it can't be super enjoyable or offer good VR experiences at a more affordable price.....it just has some limits.
