Our HDMI connection is not working with our TV anymore after a lightning strike can I fix it or does it mean a new box?

Our cable box will not read our HDMI anymore after a power outage from lightning. I've troubleshooted it from attaching other devices to the TV and it works. The cable box will not see it and comes up with a code how do I fix it

Yes seems like you need a new cable box, but you should be renting it from the cable company so they would replace it.
