I installed a new hard drive, but I can't install the operating system. The screen shows a dialog box like installing windows, but it never seems to complete the process and move to disc 2.

Before installing Windows, did you format the hard drive?

I'm having this issue too. I did format the drive as suggested but still did not work. I've fun full hardware diagnostics and everything passes. Double checked that the hdd was properly seated and i reseated the memory. Any thoughts? This issue is driving me crazy
