Panasonic FZ100 Monitoring

I'm going to be filming some concerts where I will want to do some monitoring on a screen. From what I can tell the usb to composite doesn't let you monitor the camera, only view pictures you've taken. Does anyone know if the mini-hdmi output will let you monitor the camera?

If it doesn't you should be able to monitor through the AV Out/Digital port. The AV cable looks as though it is a component cable (R, G, B + Audio). The manual does not appear to be much help.
