Hello,
I recently bought a bulb for my 60inch projection LCD tv by Panasonic. I installed the bulb today and the tv is shutting down. Can you please diagnose the problem

You may have a problem with the ballast electronics that power the lamp. Very common for that to blow a bulb and be misdiagnosed as just the lamp.

I am not familiar with the term "ballast electronics" I ordered a new lamp with the housing. It was installed and when it is powered up, the power light changes from green to yellow. I need to know what I need to do to fix this problem, e.g. part. There isn't anyone in my area that works on this type of television. Any other suggestions and or help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
