Hello everyone
The problem is my PC sound is going through microphone but it happens when i unplugged it too. I use a 3.5 to USB adapter with it. Headset is Corsair HS60. I tried another headset with same adapter and it fixes it but couldn't understand how it is keep happening while microphone is unplugged.

Listen box is unchecked at microphone settings.
Everything is disabled but the microphone.
Sound card etc. are disabled from device manager.

List your specs like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

Are you on the latest BIOS update for your motherboard? What do you see in Sound Manager in terms of the connected devices for audio input and output? Pass on a screenshot, if you can. Also link the adapter you speak of and the other headset you sued to verify that the Corsair unit might be the culprit.

Have the exact same headset and the exact same issue was just searching to find a solution when I found this page. Looked at about 5 different sites and so far none of them have had a valid answer or fix.
