If I by tablet WTH 1 or dual SIM card ports therefore do I have a phone??? Another question is it like a phone as far as the carrier like GSM atsm or whatever Verizon metro boost ??????
Do I have to by a version phablet for Verizon or jail break it or something like that

Contact whatever carrier you are interested in using and check if the device you want to get will work on their service. A "phablet" is just a large phone, generally in the 6-7" range so as long as it's made for whatever service you want to use, or is unlocked and has the correct antennas it will work.
