Philips Digital AV Surround Receiver not turning on.

Hello, I have a little (well not really a little) problem. So my friend gave me this Philips FR 986 DIGITAL AV Surround receiver. It worked well with same speakers at his place, after I got home and set it up it just stopped working. When I turn it on I hear ticking like a relay in a car and display turns on for brief second. Any help I could get? Thanks in advance.

There is a short somewhere, the breaker (click) fires.

Anyway to find where? Because it was working in one place and after 20 minutes or something when I got home it is not working anymore.

You seemed to implied you are using the same speakers but if you are using 4 ohms instead of 8 ohms, that would do it.

We used the same speekers. I got them to his house, we connected the receiver there - everything wen smooth. I got everything back home and now its not working. Thats how it happened. My speakers are very old Radiotehnika S-90F 8 ohms and receiver I think is 5+ ohms.
