I have an Acer liquid gallant duo and recently put a micro sd card of 32gb but now when I download an app it says I have no space even though I still have 18gb of space left on my card. How could I download my apps straight into my card?

You'll need to root the phone to have this option.

can a rooted phone be unrooted to not void the guarantee? and also where should i go to root it?

Unrooting a phone means re-flashing the stock ROM. This will delete everything installed and all user data. But yes, it can be reverted.
