Photoshop cs4 extended laggy

Photoshop cs4 extended has been really choppy and laggy for me, far too much for me to work with. I've tried reinstalling, deleting temp files, and nothing. It was fine yesterday, but this morning I turned my PC on to work on some graphics for a little project I'm making, and it was way too choppy.

When I try to run it, it easily gets up to 600,000K of memory usage in less then 10 seconds.
