Your Sony HT only has analog audio inputs (which connect with a standard RCA stereo audio cable) but your TV probably only has an optical digital audio output so you will need to add a digital to analog converter such as this.

This will connect to the TV with an optical cable and to your HT with the RCA cable mentioned above (cables not included).
It is kind of stupid for a manufacturer of a home theater in a box not to put the optical digital input on it since all TV makers have given up on the old school analog audio outputs. This includes Sonys' own TVs.
