Poor Wifi download speeds with a wireless USB dongle

Well i just recently made my pc and here are the specs:
Intel Pentium G630 2.7GHZ
Asrock B75 Pro3 motherboard
4GB RAM

i just installed a fresh copy of windows 7 and installed all the drivers/utility software that came with my motherboard and then installed the driver for my Wifi USB Dongle which is the TP-LINK TL-WN727N and iv been received very slow download speeds (around 0.30-0.60 MBPS). This is a problem for my computer only because when i used the same USB on another computer, the USB seemed to work great and had download speeds of 6MB+. Please can someone help me out.

2 things to try, update the BIOS of your mainboard(if you haven't already) and try a different USB port and/or cable. And of course the old standards-restart modem and wireless router.
